Don’t wait. Whether it's your personal or business banking card, immediately stop your card using one of the easy options below.

Stop your personal banking card on WhatsApp
  1. Add 067 418 9565 as a contact
  2. Refresh your contact list on WhatsApp
  3. Say "Hello" to us
  4. Tap the ‘Main Menu’ button and select the Self-service option
  5. Tap the ‘Options’ button and select the Stop Card option
  6. Select from the ‘Card List’ which card you would like to stop and complete the process/follow the prompts

Alternatively, click below to automatically open WhatsApp and add Capitec as a contact.

  3. Tap Stop Card
  4. Choose a reason for the stop

  • Dial *120*3279#
  • Choose option 7 “Manage Cards”
  • Select a card
  • Choose option 1 “Stop card”
  • Choose a reason for stopping the card
  • Enter your mobile banking PIN to confirm
